A pattern consistent with recreational play is marked by spending limits fixed in advance and left unchanged after a loss, session length that stays predictable and is not extended to chase a losing streak, funding drawn only from money not needed for bills, rent, or savings, and no use of play to manage stress, boredom, or low mood; breaks between sessions are taken without difficulty.
A risk pattern is marked by spending or time limits raised repeatedly following a loss, additional spending intended specifically to recover money already lost, session length or frequency that displaces sleep, work, or family obligations, funding drawn from credit, borrowed money, or funds set aside for essential expenses, and play used to relieve anxiety, sadness, or other negative emotional states rather than for entertainment.
Licensing Status of CoinsBack in Canada
